Boulder, Colo. — ContactDrive, a platform built to help people connect with their contacts so relationships don’t fall through the cracks, has announced the launch of three new apps built to enhance the user experience: Connect, Dashboard, and the groundbreaking tool for terrible people: Insults.

“In our user research exploring ways to help people connect, we found that some people simply hate everyone,” said ContactDrive CEO Allen Fuller. “So as we launch our first slate of apps for the all-new ContactDrive, we’re throwing one in there for the folks who’d rather tell everyone to #$%* off.”

Insults uses an AI engine to tailor personalized roasts for any contact. For example, for Charlie, an executive at a digital agency in Minneapolis, Insults provided this gem: “Hey Charlie! You’re like a human LinkedIn post—vaguely inspirational, deeply hollow, and somehow always about yourself.”

Since a withering roast is no good left to your own chuckles on the Metro, Insults also works with the new Connect App, making it easy to share shockingly awful messages with people you hope to never hear from again.

While Insults is definitely an April Fool’s joke, Connect and Dashboard are very real and very helpful for the rest of us who actually like people. And opportunity. And being on top of our game.

Connect is built to help you quickly connect one-on-one with the people most important to you, such as business prospects, campaign donors, or your Christmas card list.

A key feature in ContactDrive’s mission to scale human-to-human (H2H) communication, Connect allows you to build a specific list of contacts, along with template messages. It displays one contact at a time, making it easy to call, text, or email an individual contact, then quickly move to the next. Quick fill messages let you log the results of the session in one click and make it easy to add notes and tags.

Connect’s companion view gives you a deeper view of your contacts on a desktop while you call on your mobile phone, then stays in sync as you move forward.

Dashboard gives you at-a-glance insights on your workspace, including latest activity and the ability to quickly launch new Connect sessions. While in its infancy, as the ContactDrive+ marketplace of apps grows, Dashboard will let users create custom layouts with widgets from their most valuable apps.

“We rebuilt ContactDrive to make the experience more personal. Connect and Dashboard deliver on that commitment by helping people stay top of mind with their network,” Fuller said. “And we sincerely hope no one ever uses ContactDrive as an insult engine.”
